The general sales conditions apply to all reservations.


Payment:
The full payment of the membership fee and of the ski lessons is necessary to confirm the reservation.

Means of payment:
Visa, Mastercard, and bank transfer (in Euros).
Cash payments accepted upon arrival and exclusively in Euros.

Cancellations:
All reservations cancelled at least 15 days before the start of the activities will be reimbursed in full.
All reservations cancelled less than 15 days before the start of the activities will not be reimbursed, except if the Covid crisis is to blame (client country lockdown, lockdown in France, closed borders, airport or airlines shut down), Viareal will offer you a choice between a credit note for the full amount to be used any time later this season or the next, or a full refund.

Viareal can not be held responsible for weather conditions or the closing of ski lifts. No slope service will be cancelled by Viareal.
Viareal reserves the right to cancel off-piste services if necessary for safety reasons.

Insurance:
Viareal and all of its service providers have professional responsibility coverage.
Each client must have winter sports risk insurance. “Carte Neige” insurance is also available with the ski passes.

Off-piste:
All services infer the responsibility of the instructor or guide to ensure that the conditions are adapted to the level of the clients.
Nonetheless, each client accepts to take out insurance that covers off-piste winter sports in the company of a mountain guide or fully-qualified instructor.

Health and safety:
The client recognizes not having a health condition contradictory to the practice of skiing or snowboarding. The client agrees to respect the instructor’s guidance and to have winter sports risk insurance.

Equipment:
Equipment adapted to winter sports is indispensable. The client agrees to personally equip themself. Viareal can advise you in the choice of your equipment as well as organize its delivery. This service is extra and must be reserved at least 48 hours before your arrival.

Safety and supervision:
Our instructors and guides are independent professionals state-certified in their speciality. Any service provided is subject to the instructors’ and guides’ appreciation of the weather and snow conditions as well as the moral and physical aptitudes of the clients.

Ski-passes:
Not included in the prices.


Liability clause:
The client, their entitled parties or legal successors can not engage the responsibility of Viareal or of its service providers for accidents, injuries or any other mishaps incurred during the activities except where fault has been duly established.

Eventual litigation:
The general sales conditions are exclusively applicable under French law. In case of litigation, only the courts having jurisdiction where Viareal operates will be considered competent.

Subcontractors:
For all services provided by a subcontractor, the client shall purchase the service directly from the different service providers, even if the reservation was made by Viareal. In case of litigation, the client shall see the matter directly with the concerned service provider.
Subcontracted services:
Ski touring, ice climbing, snowshoeing, crosscountry skiing, speed-riding, paragliding, hanggliding, parachuting, hot-air ballooning, snow-biking.

All of our ski instructors/personal assistants are selected according to the following skills:

  • Professional: They are fully-qualified with several years of experience
  • Linguistic: They speak fluent French and English
  • Training: They add to and apply our teaching ethic
  • Human relations: They are friendly and very nice people

All of our ski instructors/personal assistants make a commitment to:

  • Sharing the values of Viareal: Discretion, courtesy, open-mindedness
  • Determining the meeting time and place with the client
  • Always being at the meeting place 15 minutes early
  • Wearing a backpack with equipment to satisfy the client’s needs
  • Finishing the course where the client has pre-decided
  • Always being able to contact the slope services
  • Knowing the different onsite snow conditions
  • Always being informed of the weather forecast
